Webilder

Webilder is a program for creating dynamic desktops for Linux, i.e., with pictures changing periodically. A friend of mine has suggested to install it and I use it ever since.

You can set the directory containing your pictures gallery and leave Webilder to show them as desktop images. It can also download photos from Flickr and Webshots.
